Dr. Woape Huffman, ND

Naturopathic Physician | Primary Care, Men’s Health, Longevity & Injection Therapies

About Me

Dr. Woape Huffman believes that understanding your health is one of the most powerful steps you can take toward improving it. One of his favorite moments as a physician is seeing a patient experience that “aha!” moment, when something about their health finally makes sense, and they begin to see a clearer path forward. His approach to medicine emphasizes education, prevention, and collaboration. He wants patients to understand not only what is happening in their bodies, but why, and to feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health. For Dr. Huffman, good medicine isn’t simply about treating symptoms. It’s about helping people build a better understanding of their bodies and supporting their ability to live healthy, active, fulfilling lives. Originally from Alaska, Dr. Huffman earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Southern Oregon University before receiving his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.

Men’s Health, Longevity & Preventive Medicine

Dr. Huffman has a particular interest in Men’s Health, Longevity Medicine, and helping patients maintain their physical and metabolic health throughout their lives. He recognizes that many men don’t seek medical care until something has already gone wrong. He hopes to change that pattern by encouraging a more proactive approach to health, one that addresses not only existing medical concerns but also the factors that influence long-term wellness, including metabolic health, physical function, mobility, and the prevention of chronic disease. Central to his philosophy is the belief that getting older doesn’t have to mean giving up the activities that make life enjoyable. Whether it’s exercising, playing sports, traveling, or simply feeling strong and capable in everyday life, Dr. Huffman wants to help patients preserve their health and independence for as long as possible.

Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine & Injection Therapies

As an athlete himself, Dr. Huffman understands the importance of movement and the frustration that can come with pain, injury, or physical limitations. He has developed a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine, including injection therapies, trigger point therapy, and other approaches that may help patients manage pain, support recovery, and improve physical function. He enjoys helping patients understand the underlying contributors to their discomfort and exploring treatment options that support their individual goals. Whether working with an athlete hoping to return to competition or someone who simply wants to move through daily life with greater comfort an
